Q: Why do you not offer a dictionary?
A: We offer free language lessons for your study. If you learn a language, for sure you must have at least one dictionary to translate all the new words. There are a lot of good dictionaries available. You can buy on in a book store or you can use one from the internet.
The main purpose of our language service is dealing with useful language items. This will include short sentences, short and long stories, grammar and other topics. 
You can find some online dictionaries in Tools. If you find a new one we do not have listed please inform us.

Q: I want to learn a foreign language. Do I need to pay for the usage of your content?
A: No, you can you can learn any available foreign language for free. Feel free to read, listen and download any content you like. 

Q: I want to learn a foreign language but I am not satisfied with the existing content. What can I do?
A: You can request to update the language content. But note, the content will be deliver by volunteer. If you are not suceessfull with your request you need to wait until someone is willing to help you. At least you can help to improve the languages in your mother language. Check the existing lessons and add an item of your interest. The more people add intesting content the merrier you have the change to find someone who will help you with the language you like to learn.

Q: What are the rules to add a new lesson?
A: First you need to register and login to our website. You find the template for new lessons on the tab "Lessons". Update the default entries with your lesson content add the audio file and press the "Klick here to submit value" button at the bottom of the page.

Q: Is it required to add an audio file?
A: No, it is not mandatory. But we kindy ask you to add it whenever possible. 

Q: I want to record an audio dialog betweent to persons. Do my friend need to have an account in usewaiyu too?
A: No. But you need to inform your friend that you like use the recordings for usewaiyu. You can't use your friends voice if he disagree with our license model.

Q: Why is the vocabulary of the different lessons not available?
A: We do not provide the vocabulary because there are a lot of excellent dictionaries online. We basically do not focus on dictionary services, we are going to teach a language in general. For sure you need a dictionary and you can find some of the online dictionaries listed in Tools.

Q: Do I need to pay for the content?
A: No, you can read, listen and download any content for free.

Q: Why I need to register?
A: As an registered user you can add new lessons and modify existing lessons. If you don't register, you are not able to use this features.

Q: Do you allow me to give a lesson to my friend?
A: Yes, als long as you keep the lesson complete you are allowed to do it. Please read the license conditions for more details.
